Admission to all other Year Groups
Important Information
Admissions Note for Special Class: Students who may be seeking special class are required to apply to the NCSE before October 1st 2025. No student may be offered a place in a special class/school setting without the NCSE eligibility letter.
Parents/Guardians can do this by completing the parental notification form on the NCSE website or at this link.
This applies to the following students:
a) Students attending mainstream currently but seeking a Special Class for 2026-2027, with the required diagnosis and professional recommendation. This includes those who were unsuccessful in seeking a place in a special class for 2025-2026 and who have accepted a place in mainstream with a view to seeking the next available place in a special class.
b) Students transitioning to post primary and seeking a specialised placement for the school year 2026-2027, with the required diagnosis and professional recommendation.
Please Note: In accordance with Circular 39/25, no student may be offered a place in a special class setting without the NCSE eligibility letter.
